I'd agree with that wholeheartedly, Mark. As I've written privately and in more detail to you, we in the UK have an urgent need of substantial resources to try to deal with the defections. As for "responding to the competition": as per previous posts, from where I sit that competiton is SQL Server and not, as the recent US-based speakers here perceive, Oracle. sending to informix-list
