What do you need to know? If you go to the Web search for RAID. You'll have more info than you could ever use. There is an excellent explaination of the various RAID levels at the ICP WEB site: www.icp-vortex.com. For specifics of RAID and Informix scan the CDI archives at the IIUG site (www.iiug.org) for tons of messages, mostly me raving against RAID5, but lots of other information about using different RAID levels with Informix.
