Re: in "ON KEY" block, display is not working, help?

Hi Ramki, I tried the same code in Informix 4GL 6.01 and its working fine. There is no need to press Return in the field in which you want the display to appear. However can you clarify what frm1.status in "display l_status to frm1.status " means? if it is a form field it should work and it did work. I called a function in the on key, in field condition and assigned a VALUE and returned it.This value i displayed using a display ... to ... statement.it gets displayed without any need to press return.
