Cursor

I have a = prepared statement for the insert sql followed by cursor declaration for = the insert statement. I getting the values from user thru a form-screen = variable, and program variable. then i use the PUT cursor_name FROM = variable list. while compiling i am getting a error in .ec file at the variable list = place were i am using the PUT curso_name FROM variable list. what could this error be due to.... i am sure that the my program variable names are different from the = column names of the table. thanx in advance.
