Problems with TEXT Fields / Error -79716

Hello everybody ! We are using 7.31UC1 on Solaris 2.6 with jdbc-informix v. 2.10. One of our tables has two TEXT colums but when we attempt to fill these columns using a PLS/stored procedure which is driven by a java servlet, we get a null pointer exception and the mentioned errror code. Did i miss something ? Are there any restrictions to the number of TEXT columns per table ? TIA Elias
