NEED HELP ASAP! How to start transaction logging when a database has already been created

Hi, I am using Dynamic server 9.2 and would like to start transaction logging. I know how to start it upon the database creation, but how do I start it if the database has already been created? Thank you Jordan

Hi!
You have to use ontape backup utility with -s (to backup all), and -U of -B
to start Buffered or Unbuffered logging.

There is another utility for manage database log mode of IDS 2000 which name
is "ondblog".
Ex : ondblog unbuf database_name
If your original database log mode is "not log" , after you using ondblog
change log mode doesn't work until you execute full database backup.
