Hi all, I'm using ontape command to do backup our Informix server everynight but the Informix's ontape command only allows to restore the whole Informix engine or dbspaces. I'm looking for Informix backup software which allows to restore a single database of Informix Server. Thanks in advance for any advise. DH.

ON-Bar, I believe. Do not try ON-Archive. You need to ensure that your databases are properly separated (separate dbspaces for separate databases). Somebody might mention DB-Export and DB-Import. Hi Sorry, I think you have to put your database in a seperate dbspace. But what about dbexport/dbimport or something like that (www.iiug.org)?
