If data replication configured for OnLine instance and that instance
is primary, then you will see in the first line of onstat output
-- OnLine (Prim) --. This means, that someone executed command:
onmode -d primary <name_of_secondary>
Paired server will be <name_of_secondary>.
If instance is secondary, then you will see -- Read-Only (Sec) --
if everything is OK and replication started.
Or -- <some_other_state> (Sec) -- if something wrong.
This means that someone performed cold restore on secondary and
executed command
onmode -d secondary <name_of_primary>
You can see online.log to find some previous actions regarding
data replication. Lines must contain "DR:".
If someone (your DBA) performed that actions, then you definitely
should consult with him.
