Does anybody know what the LC_COLLATE=C does/means? Thanks, Howard
LC_COLLATE controls locale specific collating sequencing for sorts, etc. The default locale and colating sequence are 'C' which is ASCII natural collating (as opposed to say German collating or phone book collation). What about GL_COLLATE and GL_TYPE rows from systables ?
How many environment variables are implied ?
Will I have to do dbexport / dbimport after setting correctly ?
