Restoring archive tapes

Hello again !!!
I'm using an AIX machine with IDS 7.31 UC4
I've performed a level 0 archive using a tape device, then I've
performed a level 1 archive using another tape device connected to the
same machine.
Now I want to perform a cold restore using the two tapes, but the
ontape program asks for the level 1 archive on the same device as the
level 0. But my level 1 tape was performed on a different tape device.
How can I resolve this ?? Is there a way to tell the ontape program
that the level 1 archive must be read from another device ?????
Thanks for your help.

Before you buy.
Use dd to copy the tape from the 'other' device the the first. Be sure to
set the block size (bs).
