Hi ! Is it possible to use replication (ODS 7.23 on AIX) without Enterprise Replication Manager? How to define replicate, participant etc. without this tool? Thanks for answers, Jarek B.
There are a series of utility functions in $INFORMIXDIR/demo. However, I would urge you to consider moving to a more current version of the engine. There have been a lot of fixes to ER since the 7.23 days. In article <st0j3.19416$1g.308715@news.tpnet.pl>, Hi! Are your familiar with CDR command line utility? It an alternative to Enterprise Replication Manager and it enables you to control replication directly from the command line on Unix system. For more information see "Guide to Informix Enterprise Replication", chaper 11. If you don't have this manual you can get it for free from www.informix.com.
