We had Linux RedHat, and the same odbc version connecting to our informix db on another server. As time marched on, we started having timeouts and -439 errors. The solution was to restart Apache. We have recently upgraded our Apache from 1.3 to 2.0 and that has fixed our problems completely. Just thought it was worth mentioning. The problem is : at the beginning of the day, all is going fine, the pages are going to the sreen fastly, and so on... During the day, the speed the pages are showing is decreasing, and at a certain time, time out... I have checked all my scripts, each time i do an open database, i do a close dtabase, the same for the queries. On the informix server, there are about 200 connections at the same time, via forms and so, and it works fine. Only the "web" part is going slower Does anyone have an idea from where it can come ?
