I have a question about the VPCLASS variable. If I want a KAIO, using 2
CPUs and my connections are socket connects through TCPIP ports except for a
backup shared memory connections, is this what I need?
VPCLASS cpu,num=2,noage
VPCLASS net,num=2,noage
NETTYPE soctcp,2,50,NET
NETTYPE ipcshm,1,50,CPU
Or should I add this ?
VPCLASS kio,num=2,noage
Thanks!

One more thing, in the old days we were told when using KAIO to set the
NUMAIOVPS to 2. So should I also have this:
VPCLASS aio,num=2,noage

Kate,
There is no KAIO VP. Each CPU VP runs a KAIO OS level thread.

Well set aio VPs to some small number between 2 & 6. YMMV. Or lee
AUTO_AIOVPS handle it.
