Client-Server problem with informix

Hi to all 10 days ago I had a problem with date field (error number -1205, month and day exchanged...) I wrote a client-server application (in PowerBuilder, but this shoudn't be important) who retrieves and stores data from an informix database server (OnLine 7.0). There is a DATE field on a table. When I retrieve data, the date field appears me correctly in the format dd/mm/yyyy, but if I insert a new row and write a data I got the error message -1205 when I perform the update on the database. My application worked fine until 10 days ago: I don't know what is happened... I don't set the parameter DBDATE on the setnet client (it gave me a lot of problems....) I checked the DBDATE parameter in the .profile of the database DBA login, but it is dd/mm/yyyy. Tha main question are: on the server hand, what is responsable of the date field format? What I have to check to make my application could save date fields prompted in the form dd/mm/yyyy ? Have you ever had this problem? Any ideas?
