Re: 4GL Input Array Questions

Yup can be done - and I dont think it is as painful as some would lead you to believe. Basic principle is this : put the input array within a while loop that will allow you to exit via a flag. Now place a noentry, autonext field on the end of the row in the array called jump. To go to a particular row , set a flag to th rownumber before row if rowno = flag next field <start of line> else next field jump if you want to go to a specific row, come out of the input array and back in to trip the scroll. Not nice I concede but it is possible. I believe I have seen more elegant solutions on the Informix User Group repository. Hope this helps Howard Soper Tony Marasco wrote in message <3635DF4F.CDA1BB27@berksiu.k12.pa.us>... >A colleague and I were discussing if it is possible to >programmatically go to specific rows while in an INPUT ARRAY >statement.
