Doubts about replication

Hello, folks!!! I´m in a hurry, testing a primary-target based replication using IDS 9.4. That´s all working fine, except that when my replicated db instance is down (offline), my sbspace fill so fast that I had to adjust it. After I resized it, I made several tests again, and it didn´t fill completely. My doubt then is about how the sbspace could be empty again, because when I "turn on" the replicated db instance again, and all data was transmitted, it didn´t empty!!! Someone please could help me explaining how informix manage this kind of dbspace using replication??? Thanks a lot for your attention!
The elements in the sblob space will be removed once all of the targets= have received and applied the replicated transactions - or at least tha= t's what is supposed to happen. One thing to be aware of - there is a port= ion of the smart blob which is used to house metadata. Space which is allocated to house this metadata is not freed when the smart blobs are removed. Rather, it is retained to be used by some large object which = is subsequently created. ------------------------------------- Madison Pruet, STSM IDS Replication Architect = "ALEXANDRE = MARINI" = <alexandre_marini = To @net.ms.gov.br> ids@iiug.org = Sent by: = cc ids-bounces@iiug. = org Subj= ect Doubts about replication [10800= ] = 12/26/2007 06:00 = AM = = = Please respond to = ids@iiug.org = = = Hello, folks!!!
