temp tables in procedure from different database

Hello, IDS 11.50 FC7W1 on RedHat Linux. I have a stored procedure that runs in database A, and it calls another procedure in database B. The database B procedure uses and creates temp tables, and I'm running into a -556 SQL error. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to work around the -556 error without completely rewriting the procedure in database B? Thanks. Jamie
