A common reason for poor performance on HP platforms is due to the number (not
the size) of shared memory segments. Please ensure that you are not running
with dynamically allocated virtural memory segments. Check onstat -g seg. If
you have more than one "V" segment, increase your SHMVERTSIZE so that you do
not allocate dynamically allocated segments.
