We run our production IDS system on a Dual Pentium III Netfinity from IBM and Redhat Linux 6.2. This system performs wonderfully and has been very stable, it handles our very complicated Intranet set as well as connections from 4gl apps running on another box. Currently we have 7.3x, and I'd recommend going straight to IDS2000/9.x for several reasons. Systems and Network Administrator Morrison Industries 1825 Monroe Ave NW. Grand Rapids, MI. 49505
