Hi Informixers, I have a 4GL application where in one form, a variable of type date is displayed in a screen array in the format "DD.MM". This is achieved with a "USING" directive in the screen definition. The program has been in use for over a year, but now I found out that the program crashes very often when the user navigates inside the screen array using the PgUp or PgDown keys. Everything works fine when only the CursorUp and CursorDown keys are used. The error displayed is -1212: Date conversion format must contain a month, day, and year component. In the Informix product defect database, I found #96081: DATES DO NOT DISPLAY PROPERLY WHEN UDING MM/YY FORMAT. No version is displayed where this defect is fixed. Could this be related? I really don't want the year displayed in this field, all I need are day and month! What can I do? Product version: 4GL 7.20UD1 against IDS 7.31UC4X1 on Siemens ReliantUnix 5.43C20. Maybe the pageup/down is making your program take a different route than you assume. -- Compliments of QueriX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QueriX 4GL Compilers are Informix 4GL Compatible, and Connection to other RDBMS such as Oracle.
