Backup and restore tools

Hi all, Can someone give me advice on what are the pro & con of using On-bar or On-archive to run a dairy backup and restore (when necessary) of very huge and fragmented databases. Thank You
Although I've never used it, I read that onbar is good for large databases
requiring multiple volumes. You have to use a third-part storage manager.
onarchive is good if you want to spend endless hours trying to work out out
with what obscure message your archive has failed this time, if you want to
guarantee to be unable to restore at the time you most need to, and if you
ultimately want to lose your job, your wife to leave you, and for your
children to disown you in shame.
Sorry to skim over the subject!

Hooray; some signal in an otherwise abominable collection of noise.
Additional downside to using ON-Archive -- it won't be supported in the
(near) future.

Thanks for skimming over the subject and not the noise!
