Want to separate the Informix app server from the DB

We currently run Informix 7.3 on SCO 5.0.5. We are planning to buy a SUN 350 and move just the database over to Solaris. We want to run the apps on the SCO box. I'm guessing that the only Informix piece on the Solaris side is the Dynamic Server 7.3. What modules do we need to install on the SCO side? Thanks Gary Quiring

If you use only 4GL apps, or PERFORM masks and ACE reports, all you need are the runtime versions of these packages. In case of ESQL/C apps, you need INFORMIX-CONNECT, which should be either included with IDS or be available free of charge from Informix (in the Client SDK).
