Re: db4glgen-3.10

As it turns out, the 3.10 release of db4glgen has a chunk of code in it that causes the Bourne Shell to choke. This escaped me as I use the Korn Shell as my prefered shell. Anyway, db4glgen-3.10 will work perfectly with "ksh" or you can apply the following patch which once again proves that there is more than one way to skin a cat :-) You could also scarf up the newest db4glgen currently at rev 3.11... which ever is easier. db4glgen-3.11 highlights: * Fixed the "last-column" bug * Changed color choices to be nicer looking when used with a "white" backround * INPUT BY NAME clauses have code to individually REVERSE fields during input * Placed that damn cursor in the browse screen in a more eye-pleasing place Here --------- Snip Here --------- Snip Here --------- Snip Here --------- Snip *** db4glgen.bak Wed Mar 31 16:21:57 1993 --- db4glgen Wed Mar 31 16:36:31 1993 *************** *** 143,156 where syscolumns.tabid = systables.tabid and systables.tabname = "$TABNAME" !! ! cat $TMP | ! while read COLNAME rest_of_line ! do ! if [ _$COLNAME != _ ] ! then !
