Last time I looked, terminfo wasn't supported at all for AIX. This means anything in your INFORMIXTERM variable will be ignored, and consequently tic won't change anything. I suspect this is still the case. What is your TERMCAP variable set to? If it is unset, Informix will be reading $INFORMIXDIR/etc/termcap. I remember an "off-by-one" error in which most applications number their function keys F1-F12 as k1-kC but Informix wants k0-kB, I think. Anyway, editing the termcap might solve your problem. -Jeff
