I developed a small script that will do the table reorganization by using the Chunk Free Liste Table and the ALTER FRAGMENT INIT TABLE ... IN dbspace statement. But thissilly programm is unable to reorganize fragmented tables. Stefan Weideneder PS: Alter Fragment Init Table is less "logical log" expensive than ALTER INDEX TO CLUSTER. The problem is, to do the ALTER INDEX/ALTER FRAGMENT in the correct order if you intend to reorganize many tables of a dbspace. So you will either need the chunk free list or you must unload/load all the tables of your dbspace ( dbexport/dbimport should also work ).
