Just for curiousity really, how many people are using multi-terabyte databases, I don't mean multiple databases totalling tetrabytes, I mean single databases of multi terabytes Cheers Paul
Paul, I have an Oracle customer who's running multiple databases of multiple TBs. Of course the database I play with is only 250 MB made up of a ficticious island and doesn't have a lot of features on it. But when I really need to test something... Then its one of the larger TB databases.> Date: Thu, 27 Mar 2008 07:52:44 -0500> From: paul@oninit.com> Subject: Re: Informix Positive Post #2> To: informix-list@iiug.org> > [cutting]> > > > > And Mark, 4TB of data?> > Thats nothing these days when you have home consumers buying 1TB raid > > systems for their home pc.> > Just for curiousity really, how many people are using multi-terabyte > databases, I don't mean multiple databases totalling tetrabytes, I mean > single databases of multi terabytes> > Cheers> Paul> _______________________________________________> Informix-list mailing list> Informix-list@iiug.org> http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list _________________________________________________________________ How well do you know your celebrity gossip? http://originals.msn.com/thebigdebate?ocid=T002MSN03N0707A
