HPUX-11i Imix versions?

(RP-7410 64-bit machine) Just spoke to Imix support re. an issue with 4gl, and mentioned in passing that, as we link a 3rd-party 32-bit app into our 4gl we can't use the 64-bit 'FC' versions (the linker complains and sulks) so we have got the 'HC' versions, i.e. 32-bit but compile done a 64-bit machine. At which point he did the plumber impersonation (sucks air in through teeth, shakes head and says "Nah, wouldn't do that, guv") and said that we should really be using the UC version. So are there known issues or otherwise with the 'HC' releases, anyone out there got tales to tell? Just interested, you understand........
