Stalled Checkpoint

Hi~ I have installed IDS 7.31.TC6 on Win NT 4.0 SP 5. This is my first time working with Informix on NT. I have used Informix on UNIX in the past. I successfully installed and initialized Informix. I am trying to force a checkpoint using 'onmode -c', but I get the following error message: Warning: checkpoint appears to be stalled and is not complete. Can I force the checkpoint any other way? Is there an equivalent of 'onmonitor' (UNIX) for NT? I also need to backup the logical logs. I want to back them up to /dev/null - what is the equivalent in NT?
