Raw space & chunk offsets

Hi List, AIX 5.2, IDS 7.31.UD8 Is it a train smash if you don't offset your chunks on raw partitions? I have this instance sitting on cooked files because 99% of the chunks have 0 offset, and i've never gotten around to an export/import. Also 9.40 with it's relocated restore is a long way off for us. From what i gather it's ok (http://www.faqs.org/faqs/aix-faq/part3/section-26.html - Is the first 4k of a LV safe?) but i'm just 2 x checking. Willem Under AIX when using Raw volumes you should offset each chunk past where the LV info is stored. The only issue comes when you lose a disk and want to re-mirror to a new disk - the LV stuff used for the re-mirror is no longer available since Informix has overwritten it. One can manually recreate the mirror for each LV.
