Online 7.11 and RAID setups

does anyone out there have an actual raid setup with online? i'm setting up a sparc storage array, partly with raid-5 and partly with striping, and would like to get a little feedback on basic parameters and such, namely the stripe size. needless to say, sun reccommends something different than some other info that i have, and i would like to avoid the "testing from ground zero phase" if i can. if anyone has any info i would appreciate sharing it, and if anyone is interested in knowing what i find out as i go through this let me know and i will keep this thread going. thanks, mickm -- _____________________________________________________________________________ Mickey Mestel mickm@netcom.com -on a beach in thailand to a beautiful, stoned, norwegian woman: "..yeah, it's just another foreign country without ice." -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
