Just wondering about Zero Impact Sql Monitor. Is it going to work in a switching network (when you are using switches instead of hubs)? In my understanding the monitor must set the network card in promiscuous mode to get all the packets on network. And this should work great in a local network based on thin or thick ethernet, or hubs. And I'm definitely not sure how it works when switches are used. Can someone clear things up ?
