Open source = Informix ???

Well worth looking at and I think it has possibilities. After reading the O'Rielly book OpenSources I would think it would be a step in the right direction, look at Netscape, have they faltered ? Also with the number of different licences available ( and scope for new ones ) it is possible to stay in control.
