How to drop database with bad chunk
I have a development database environment (Informix 9.40 ), one of the
chunk(cooked file in HPUX) got deleted and now that chunk is marked down.
Since we don't have any backup of the database we want to drop the DB itself
and recreate it. But Drop database is giving error.. "Primary/Mirror Chunk is
bad"
I created an empty file having same name which was deleted and tried to mark
the chunk online by onspaces command (onspaces -s <dbspacename> -p <chunk > -o
0 )but didn't work.
Any help is highly appreciated ..?
