I have a dbexport of a huge database which I want to load on another
machine.
My question is: Is it possible to create a database without logging, Insert
data in it and then change it to buffered logging. If yes, then how it can
be done. Any pointers will be of great help.
Thanks in advance

Yes, check out the -l (?) option on dbimport and then use ontape to
put the logging back on

In order to add logging to a database, you can use ontape -s -B
<nameofdatabase>. Or alternatively you can use non-buffered logging and
specify the command ontape -s -B <nameofdatabase>. Review the ontape command
and syntax.
This will turn logging on for your database.
