onspaces -d dbspace -p raw_device_name -o offset
The chunk needs to be emptied first, though (oncheck -pe)
For some reason, onmonitor does not have an equivalent delete chunk
option
Not sure why that is

A related question I would also ask-- How would one rename (or move) a
chunk. I know the preferred procedure is to use links, however, if an
earlier DBA didn't, then what would be best way to rename or move chunk?

Well yes, that's how to delete a chunk, but my point is that I don't believe
Informix will allow you to drop the primary chunk of a mirrored pair. So,
you can't really rename a chunk.
