Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Despite the subject line, this tail of the thread contains no Informix or technical content at all. It is off-topic political banter between a few regulars, drifting from a remark that "it doesn't matter who you vote for" into comments about Zuma, Mbeki and Mugabe, Zimbabwe's hyperinflation, and one poster's wish to buy and frame high-denomination Zimbabwean notes as a curiosity. The only correction offered is a pedantic note that US dollars are also bank notes (fiat currency) and that the poster probably meant "agro cheques". No technical problem is raised and no resolution is recorded.
Auto-generated by DrWatson from the posts below — may be imperfect; read the full thread.

Hmmm I wonder what your thoughts are on Zuma.
It seems he's in the catbird seat and the current president of South
Africa just resigned.
Then you have to the north, a powersharing agreement where the old
guard wants to remain in control.
While we think our political systems are corrupt, there are a lot
worse things that could happen. Just look at several countries in
Africa.

Oh you bad, bad man. :-P
Zimbabwe has the worst level of inflation since post WW1 Germany.
Their currency is actually not currency but bank notes.
(I'm trying to get about $100 USD worth for historical purposes)

LOL.. I wanted the large denomination bank notes. I was going to put
them in a frame along with a reprint of one of the articles talking
about the high rate of inflation.
Actually that would be a good business for their government to get in
to. They'd be selling currency that would never get used for hard
cash.

That applies where you live too.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_dollar#Banknoteshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve_Note
"A Federal Reserve Note [...] is a type of banknote issued by the
Federal Reserve System and is the only type of U.S. banknote that is
still produced today. Federal Reserve Notes are fiat currency,"
I think you are confusing bank notes with "Agro cheques".
