That rocks.... I hope they release a free Express version and put it out at all the Universities. I have been reading about many College stores selling more Macs than PCs. It would be interesting to prime the waters with IDS at that low level. Too bad it is not feasible to con Apple to install it in Leopard as a default software, like perl. Sam

A free IDS 11.10 Developer's addition with easy to find links to the CSDK and iConnect modules on the download page to boot: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/informix/ids/developer/ It's not IDS Express, but it's a good start. I think C Hasse ?sp? is doing a bang up job on the informix connection piece even though I haven't really had time to play with it. (I'm stuck using cx_Oracle which blows!) But getting back to the issue at hand, an IDS port to Apple's Mach (OS-X) isn't going to be done for the masses. There is definitely a reason for the port. _________________________________________________________________ Peek-a-boo FREE Tricks & Treats for You! http://www.reallivemoms.com?ocid=TXT_TAGHM&loc=us
