C UDR vs. SPL

Hi all. Let's close the eyes for a second and imagine a stored procedure that does 'stuff', and a C UDR that does the same 'stuff' (in IDS 9.21 FC2-1 on Solaris). The 'stuff' can be something like 'select field1, field2 from table where key = value;'. Which one is supposed to be faster ? Thanks, Bogdan Neagu
