I'm trying to install Informix Dynamic Server.2000 V9.20.UC2-1 for Sun Solaris 2.5, 2.5.1, 2.6, 7 - Evaluation Copy. My Server is Sun Solaris 7 Intel. I have created a new entry for group informix and user, a new Informix product directory INFORMIXDIR, and prepared the Informix's Enviroment with INFORMIXDIR=/informix/productexport INFORMIXDIR PATH=$PATH:$INFORMIXDIR/binexport PATH After the process of unzip I have loaded the server with the command "tar xvf server.zip" but when I try to install the server with the script "installserver" I have received this error: Installing directory . Installing directory aaodir Installing directory bin etc/install: etc/brand: cannot execute Installation of Informix Dynamic Server 2000 failed. I have read the installation guide for IDS.2000 on UNIX and followed it but it is not enough. Thank you.
