RE: hung user account

Figured the problem out; I just ran onstat -u without sending the output to
grep; looking at the entire list confirmed that the username I was looking
for didn't have a process running.

Subject: hung user account
I have a user account that I cannot get control of. My
normal procedures to
do this are:
1) Identify the user (who -u | grep username) (I
usually make note of
the tty port)
2) Identify the session id (onstat -u | grep username
3) Onmode -x session id
4) Kill -9 username
When I do the onstat -u, I'm not seeing any session id at
all for the
locked/hung account. Is there another way to check this, or
is the fact
that onstat -u doesn't return anything just telling me that
there are no
Informix threads running against that session?
Thanks for your experience,
