Is there any trick to running onbar from cron?
I have a Sun E3500 with sun unix version 7. When I type at a command
line /informix/bin/onbar -b -L0 that works just fine. However, when I
schedule it in cron I get an error 1502 - message 1502 not found.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Sounds like environment, if it work from command line and not cron then
it must be the environment, wrap your call in a script setting a known
environment

Paul,
are you running cron as informix or as root? If you're running it as the
latter, root may not have the environment variables necessary to execute
this command. Try scheduling this command as informix and see what
happens.
