Shaun I had this question some time back and somebody on this list gave me the answer: jdbc:informix-sqli://hostname:portnumber/ full_path_to_db:informixserver=servername;user... Note the space between the portnumber/ and the full path name. I have downloaded the Client SDK and look at the documentation on connecting to a database via the URL. This seems to be oriented towards online engines and I can't find any example of communicating with a standard engine. Can anyone tell me what I need to enter as the URL to communicate with a standard engine? Regards Shaun Campbell
Is this the case for Standard Engine? If so what do I do for port number?
