If not, you might have to do something ugly > with ODBC. If you plan to use the DRDA Gateway then you need a relay module that will simulate the version 5 informix engine as version 7. I have heard about ODBC and IBM connectivity since it keeps coming from the IBM knowlegeable sources but I doubt if that will solve the problem.
