DISPLAY using ATTRIBUTE problem

I know someone out there must be able to help me. I'm trying to DISPLAY parts of a line in reverse video and leave the rest in normal mode. For example, I'd like it to look something like this: CODE1 Code 1 description CODE2 Code 2 description CODE3 Code 3 description CODE4 Code 4 description ^ ^ ^ ^ reverse normal reverse normal The reason behind this problem is that the client wants the screen to be able to scroll up as each new line is encountered (this will emulate current software that they are currently using). I would just use a screen form, but I also have to PROMPT the user periodically, and this would screw up the scrolling part of it. I've tried the following, all of which have failed me: (1) DISPLAY "CODE1" attribute(reverse)," Code 1 description" ............ (2) DISPLAY "CODE1" at 24,1 attribute(reverse), "Code 1 description" at 24,3 attribute (normal) DISPLAY " " DISPLAY "CODE3" at 24,1 attribute(reverse), "Code 3 description" at 24,3 attribute (normal) DISPLAY " " (this doesn't work because the lines do not scroll up when DISPLAY " " is executed.) (3) Magical spells. In a related question, is there any way to display part of a PROMPT string in reverse video and leave the rest alone?? Same reasoning. I humbly thank in advance anyone who can help me!
