Hi All,
I got this message from the primary that the replication failed... Please see
below
19:54:42 listener-thread: err = -25582: oserr = 9: errstr = : Network
connection is broken.
System error = 9.
19:56:21 DR: ping timeout
19:56:21 DR: Receive error
19:56:21 ASF Echo-Thread Server: asfcode = -25582: oserr = 9: errstr = :
Network connection is broken.
System error = 9.
19:56:21 Checkpoint Completed: duration was 229 seconds.
19:56:21 Checkpoint loguniq 54197, logpos 0x144c4018, timestamp: 0x3581c33a
19:56:21 Maximum server connections 60
19:56:23 DR: Turned off on primary server
19:56:23 DR: Cannot connect to secondary server
19:56:23 Process exited with return code 1: /bin/sh /bin/sh -c
/appl/informix/infxsw01/etc/informix_alarm.sh 3 15 "Data Replication failure."
"DR: Turned off on
19:56:23 Process exited with return code 1: /bin/sh /bin/sh -c

"DR: Cannot connect
ON PRIMARY
Data Replication:
Type State Paired server Last DR CKPT (id/pg)
primary off secondary_server 54197 / 83095
DRINTERVAL -1
DRTIMEOUT 75
DRLOSTFOUND /home/informix/etc/dr_ifx1001.lostfound
ON SECONDARY
Data Replication:
Type State Paired server Last DR CKPT (id/pg)
secondary on primary_server 54197 / 83095
DRINTERVAL -1
DRTIMEOUT 75
DRLOSTFOUND /appl/informix/infxsw01/etc/dr_ifx1217.lostfound
Do I need to re-issue "onmode -d primary secondary_server" in order to
activate the replication? So far i see that the "state=off" in primary when i
execute "onstat -g dri" or the replication will automatically re-connected?
When network connection between primary and secondary is restored they both
should connect to each other and replication will resume.
