4GL RDS on Linux: Successfull runner customization but debugger dumps core

Hi all! We're struggling with a weird problem here. We have a lot of functions in C linked with our RDS runner and with the debugger. When we create the new runner (fglgo) it works fine but when we create the debugger (fgldb) it dumps core. I've reduced the C functions to a minimum, but the problem persists. The moment we add the smallest function to fgiusr.c the newly compiled fgldb dumps core on startup (although if we call it without arguments it gives the correct error message of missing filename). This is the last problem to solve before completeting our transition from SCO Open Server to Linux. :-) Has anyone come across this kind of problem? Any hints? We are using Debian 2.0 (tested also with debian 2.1) and enclosed are the tests we made. Thanks in advance, Fernando ----- Here is the fgiusr.c code ----------------- #include "fgicfunc.h" int d_test(int nargs) { int myval; popint(&myval); printf("received: %d\\n",myval); retint(myval+1); return(1); } cfunc_t usrcfuncs[] = { "d_test", d_test, 1, 0, 0, 0 }; -------- here is our 4GL program to test it ------- main define testval integer let testval=0 display "testval: ", testval let testval = d_test(testval) display "testval: ", testval end main -------- makefile to build fglgo and fgldb ----------- all: fgldb fglgo teste.4go teste.4go: teste.4gl fglpc teste.4gl fgldb : fgiusr.c cfgldb -o fgldb fgiusr.c fglgo : fgiusr.c cfglgo -o fglgo fgiusr.c -------------------------------------------------------------- -- Fernando Fernandez http://despodata.pt/ddata/pessoal/ferdez.htm
