Livewire Informix Error on IRIX 5.3 (ASF_INIT_DATA)

I used to be an Informix 5.x DBA, but have been out of it for a while. I recently got the Netscape Livewire Pro Beta (with Informix 7.1) and am having problems bringing the engine up in IRIX 5.3. Others are experiencing the exact same problems, but we are getting no help from Netscape and are hoping that it is a problem that someone here can help with. After installing, I attempt an oninit -iy as specified in the readme.txt and get the following error: % oninit -iyoninit: Fatal error in initializing ASF with 'ASF_INIT_DATA' flags; asfcode = '25507'. There are tuneable parameters specified in the readme.txt file that need to go in /etc/system. I'm assuming these are shared memory parameters, so we attempted to change them with systune -i. Most were changed successfully, but others were not tuneable to the parameters listed.
