You wouldn't want to fly from Toronto to the conference. I live in Toronto. My wife and I went to DC in the summer. For us to fly from Toronto to BWI was about $1800 (Canadian, or a bit over $1600 US). We drove 90 minutes to Buffalo and flew to BWI from there - total cost, just over $300 US. So, if you want to spend an extra $650 US per person to save $120 on registration, go for it. The bigger question (if I as able to attend the conference in the first place) would be how I could still get free registration if flew from Buffalo, since that's what I would do to save money on the flight. One thing to avoid is BWI! Don't pick BWI if you want to go to the Forum, pick Dulles or Reagan. BWI is Baltimore's airport, which is fine if you want to go to Baltimore visit Darryl. Some low-co like Airtran, go to BWI by default if you pick DC (thus Airtran now flies to Reagan & Dulles...)... (I do not endorse Airtran nor any other airline). jgp > -----Original Message----- > From: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:informix-list- > bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Kevin > Sent: Monday, November 06, 2006 03:12 > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Re: WAIUG Forum 2006 - Special offer for International attendees- > FREERegistration > > You wouldn't want to fly from Toronto to the conference. Yeah, but nobody visits me.... :( Seriously, you could still fly to BWI. There is a DC metro bus that travels between BWI and the DC Metro. Sometimes BWI is much cheaper than either of the DC airports. http://www.bwiairport.com/ground_transportation/washington_dc__wmata_/ -D Jean Georges Perrin wrote: > One thing to avoid is BWI!
