Michael,
From your brief description of the problem it sounds like you
want to take a pure ascii text file and load it into an SQL
database. Suggestion: Try looking at the DBLOAD UTILITY in the
appendix of your SQL manual.
DBLOAD permits you to load pure ascii test files created from
other database types or created from text editors.
From your Operating System Command Line try:
<- dbload -d databasename -c name -l errorlog
There are many more options which can be used if you need them,
this should get you started.
