REQUIREMENTS: BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5-8 years in technical/customer support in the software industry. Combined database applications programming and/or customer sales support experience. Working knowledge of RDBMS, Unix, and "C". Knowledge of Informix products (4gl,esql/c, Online). Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, Ingres, a plus. Good written and people skills. Previous presales experience a plus. DESCRIPTION: Responsible for working as the technical member of a sales team exceeding assigned quota. Provides technical account management/leadership (pre and post sales) within Informix broadly defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Provides leadership to other systems engineers to resolve problems or in the creation of applications.
